Not a deal breaker, but HK needs tighter management. In exchange for the payments, Harrah's would get up to a 30-year extension to manage the New Orleans casino until 2054 and would agree to a 350 million upgrade to its facilities within six. Never knew when they were coming to clean the room and had to ask for coffee, water, wash cloths etc. Only drawback on this trip was housekeeping which has slipped a little since last year. Couldn't be more appreciative, thank you. She did this as the NBA All Star game and all the people associated with the game were coming to town. She extended our two rooms both suites for an extra day at no cost when the airlines were cancelling all flights to the NY/Philly area due to weather. She was always friendly, had a smile, and was very helpful. However, our most favorite person at Harrahs was the Chief Concierge, JoAnn Humphrey. Of particular note is a female desk staffer by the name of Leslie who warmly greeted all guests upon hotel entry, asks if she can assist, and even offers bottled water (It's the little things that make for a great experience). Hotel is clean, nicely appointed, near the heart of the action in the French Quarter, and staffed by friendly helpful employees. We made our annual trip to Harrahs in NOLA Feb 5-9, 2017.
